NBA7800ATP

Honest Review for Android Tablet Augen GENTOUCH NBA 7800ATP User;

………”First of all–this is not the price of an Ipad so it really can’t be compared to one. The Augen is running 2.1 Android os which is NOT what the ipad uses. I will say that I was pleasantly surprised with the web browsing. It responded quickly to loading sites. I purchased a later version than the other 2 reviewers because Google and YouTube is no longer on the tablet. I have loaded apps from the marketplace and even put the SlideMe Marketplace app and was able to download apps from there also. There are not as many as the Android Marketplace but you can find plenty to use. (I have an ipod and I have 184 apps but I only use a handful daily) Overall, this is worth what you pay for it. I also find that it is not as heavy as the ipad for use while in the bed reading, etc. I also liked being able to tap the screen and it enlarges the print while web browsing. I hate wearing reading glasses. (Guess I just told my age) The screen is a resistive touch screen==not a multi-touch. You just have to press a little harder to get it to work. I did not have any problems with typing as others on the web have complained of. Overall, I am happy with the tablet. Search on the web and there are plenty of people upgrading these devices and instructions are there for anyone who is interested. Straight out of the box it does need the updates which are easy to install. It is user friendly but you have to learn how to navigate with the Android system–which is true for any operating system. Its a keeper!!!!…….” by an amazon.com buyers

……….”I bought this device before reading the reviews. After I bought it , I read the reviews and though “oh no, as soon as I get it I’m going to have to return it”. I really wanted a tablet and this was one of the cheapest ones I found. I saw all the issues that people had with it and I have not had any of those issues. It does not work well with fingers though, so keep in mind to use the included stylus. With the stylus it works perfectly. I got an app for AIM, YIM, Youtube, and Facebook. So I am able to do everything I need to on my Augen. The wifi work perfectly. The only one fault that i have noticed is if I’m downloading something to the device and playing music at the same time, the music begins to skip. I dont really mind that because I can just pause the music, its not really a big issue.I’ve put music and movies on to this device and it works awesome. The headphone jack is no longer 2.5 as many others complained, it is now 3.5. I love the buttons on the back, they make it so much easier to use. It also has a built in mic which could be better, but I wont really be using it so i dont mind. The battery life is actually pretty good, I left it on for about 8 hours and after those 6 hours it still had 20% battery life left. The email client that came installed didn’t work with my yahoo account, so I just downloaded the yahoo mail app. You can also vied pdf, and Microsoft word files on this device, however i have not tried how well that works yet. I tried out books on the device and it works perfectly. Overall, I love this device. It does everything I want it to do with basically no issues………” by an amazon.com buyers.
